Privacy Policy
Last updated: 01 May 2026
At AutomateBolt ("AutomateBolt", "we", "our", "us") we treat your data the way we'd want a vendor to treat ours — minimally collected, securely stored, and never sold. This Privacy Policy explains what information we gather when you visit automatebolt.com or use our products, why we gather it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
We collect three categories of information:
- Account information you give us directly — your name, work email, company, role, and password hash. This lets us sign you in and bill you correctly.
- Customer data you choose to store inside AutomateBolt — contacts, deals, conversations, notes, attachments. You remain the controller of this data at all times.
- Diagnostic information generated automatically — browser type, device, IP address, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this to keep the service fast and secure.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the AutomateBolt product.
- Process billing, send service updates, and respond to support requests.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use customer data stored inside AutomateBolt to train general-purpose AI models.
3. Sharing your information
We share information only with sub-processors who help us run the service — for example, our cloud hosting provider, our payment processor, and our customer support tooling. Every sub-processor is contractually bound to AutomateBolt's security and confidentiality standards.
A current list of sub-processors is available on request from support@automatebolt.com.
4. How long we keep data
While your AutomateBolt account is active we retain your data so the product works. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days, except where applicable law requires longer retention (for example, billing records for tax purposes).
5. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or download the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to delete or restrict our processing of that data.
- Object to certain uses of your data, including direct marketing.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@automatebolt.com from the address associated with your account. We typically respond within 14 days.
6. International data transfers
AutomateBolt operates from data centers in the United States, the European Union, and Australia. Customers on Enterprise plans can choose the residency region for their workspace. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards.
7. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), least-privilege access controls, audited logging, and continuous security testing. AutomateBolt holds SOC 2 Type II certification and undergoes annual penetration testing by an independent firm.
8. Children's privacy
AutomateBolt is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has shared data with us, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Changes to this policy
We will post any updates to this policy on this page and, where the change is material, notify you by email. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
